dell dimension 2350 having problems first windows xp wouldn't start
tried cleaning , and was hoping for reinstall, tried dell diagnostics all test pass when trying to reinstall
message no hard drive present not what diagnostics said am at lost how do i try to check hard disk any suggestions am at lost help

Can you, please, provide more information?
Are you able to boot up windows? Have you try to reinstall into the existing windows or did you reformat?
if you reformated try to get into SYS Configuration and make sure the HD is detectet.
