ejecting CD from drive

We purchased a Dell Studio laptop, I believe, and the CD drive has never worked properly.  There is a disk in there now that doesn't show up when I click on the computer  icon and won't run or eject.  Any suggestions?  Thank you!

Well, if it is under warranty try the consumer support line, or the live chat support options because it is Dell's problem, not yours.

 

If you're out of warranty then my first thought is for you to locate the service tag, and download and install new drivers for your CD drive.  Let us know how that goes, and we'll see if other ideas are needed.
