help dell error code 0f00 137b
hi my dell inspiron is running fine apart from the disc drive not reading discs whatsoever so i ran diagnostics and got error code 0f00 137b does this mean i need to replace drive???

Hi madloo08,
If you attempt to test your DVD drive without a disc in the drive, you get that error. Try it again with a data disc in the drive.

Yes, you need a new drive. Sorry to hear about that.

hi thank you for reply ran full diagnostics after i posted this comment and the only error code i got was 0f00 137b drive media is missing or blank which i mentioned in a more recent post..i then followed your instructions to just check drives and inserted various data discs/installation discs then cd/dvd but the process could not perform read tests or seek tests due to the drive not being able to read any discs whatsoever i just have message saying insert data cd which like i mentioned before i cannot do..think i am just going to purchase new drive as i have no other problems whatsoever...
