White space causing out-of-sync for voyencecontrol
Hi,
I've been facing a problem. I am using the voyencecontrol 4.1.1 to discovery some cisco routers. Once discovered, the voyencecontrol prompted that all of the routers' running and startup config are out of sync. When I did a check, I notice that the is no configuration that is out of sync, except that all the running configuration have a white space at the start of the configuration as compared to the starting configuration. So now all my discovered devices are "out of sync" because there is a white space at the beginning of the running config and none at the start up config. Guys any solution?

Hi Yrag,
You will need to customize the device driver to ignore this whitespace.
Can you please go to support.emc.com and search for KB article emc277569?
This KB article describes how to setup a custom driver to ignore specific lines in a configuration.
Please let me know if this helps to resolve your issue.

Hi Paul,
The solution works. After following the solution, I did a re-pull of the configurations and the white line out-of-syn is gone. Thanks for the help!
