Support assist enterprise and open manage enterprise auto case creation

Hello all ,

I have question about this two products in subject. I have installed dell ome Current Version: 3.2.1 (Build 29) and support assist enterprise in version 2.0.30.38. I have add dell ome to support assist and status is connected. I have 34 managed dell rx740 servers. In last week in one server I have disk failed but the case didn`t create automaticly. In site inventory validation I have status lik this :

Connectivity Status   44  0
Collection Capability Status   44  0
Monitoring Status   0  0 Not Supported (3)
Console Monitored (38)
Not Verifiable (3)

 

When I choose one of my server in suport assist this info is dispalyed :

 

Monitoring Capability
Note : Monitoring is supported by the systems management console where the device is discovered. SupportAssist Enterprise does not support verifying the monitoring capability of the device.
 
 
What I must change to get case auto cration working ?

Hi Tomek_P,

well SAE is right, it's not able to perform a check if the devices are monitored correctly by OME, that's OMEs job in such case.

But OME should still pass through the traps so that SAE can create a case.

Could you please send me the ServiceTag of the failed system via a private message?

I will have a look at it and come back to you afterward.
