17 R5, SupportAssist test tron-lights

It would be a considerable improvement if the SupportAssist hardware tests included the tron-lights. There is user speculation that the AWCC update application has soft-bricked the EEPROM on the system board, but system board test says pass. The AWCC update application repeatedly refuses to install the AlienFX 2.0 hardware tester. Internet search did not find download for the AlienFX 2.0 update application installer. The AWCC update application does not offer the option to install the AlienFX 2.0 update application anyway (as some MS applications do). So we are stuck with a dark 17 R5 with no option to determine if it is a software, firmware, hardware, etc. problem.  

We sent the new 17 R5 for repair under warranty, but they could not find any fault. Just as SupportAssist reports that everything is working - when it is not. 

As many users and Dell technicians cannot find the fault, how do we get this elevate this request to update SupportAssist to test the tron-light system. Thank you.

We want to see the AWCC update application have the option to install all AlienFX 2.0 applications, irrespective of the AWCC update failure to detect our preinstalled AlienFX 2.0 devices. Then we could run the AlienFX hardware tester that Dell-Cares refuse to supply and SupportAssist hardware tester does not have.

Our Alienware 17 R5 Laptop has pre-installed AWCC FX LED lights, but AWCC fails to detect these this hardware. SupportAssist's Enhanced Pre-Boot System Assessment (ePSA) has no provision to pre-POST test the AWCC FX LED lights. Having booted, SupportAssist's hardware tests does not include the FX LED lights. 

When is SupportAssist going to be updated to test the FX LED lights?
