Dell Update app, reinstallation issue

Hi,

I uninstalled the Dell Update app and downloaded and install the one from the link you provided in the other thread. But it seems I cannot open the application? When I try it, the only thing that happens is just announcement in notification corner. Is that OK? Is it what it should do? Because as far as I recall I could open the "old" Dell Update app and it showed me some window with some information.

I also sent you a Private Message.

 

* Uninstall the Dell Update Application, and if seen, the Dell Update SupportAssist Update Plugin. When done, restart the PC
* Download/save Dell Update Application to the Windows Desktop
* Download/save Dell Update SupportAssist Update Plugin to the Windows Desktop
* Right click Dell Update Application, left click Run as administrator. Follow the prompts
* Right click Dell Update SupportAssist Update Plugin, left click Run as administrator. Follow the prompts
* When done, restart the PC and retest
