SA, 3.2.2 high CPU usage, doesn't complete urgent driver update

After upgrading to Dell SA v 3.2.2 I've noticed:

- CPU is quite high, around 12% all the time. Sometimes I can hear my laptop fan because of Dell SA running.

- An urgent update has been found "Dell Inspiron 5370 and Vostro 5370/5471 System BIOS". I've chosen to install it, but displays "downloading" indefinitely. See screenshot:

Thanks for your help.

Note, the purchased 1 year Collect and Return Support warranty on this Vostro 5471 expires in 20 days (July 30, 2019).

The CPU fan spinning up and down is normal based on your usage, apps running, battery versus AC power adapter, and the Dell Power Manager Service settings you have chosen for both battery only and AC power adapter connected.

My advice, do not install something as critical as a BIOS update through SupportAssist. A failed BIOS update will break the motherboard.

* The AC power adapter should be connected to the Vostro 5471
* The Vostro 5471 is not connected to any dock
* Disconnect all external devices (USB HDD, monitor, printer, etc.) from the Vostro 5471
* Download/Save the BIOS 1.12.0 file to the Windows desktop
* Restart the Vostro 5471
* Close/end task all unnecessary software applications (SupportAssist, Steam, Anti-virus, etc.)
* Find the saved BIOS 1.12.0 file on the Windows desktop
* Right click the file and choose, "Run as administrator". Note, you do not need to "extract" the file. Just run it
* Follow the prompted instructions. The Vostro 5471 will reboot on its own
* Once back into Windows, restart the Vostro 5471

Hello,

I followed exactly your instructions. After the reboot done by myself, I went to DELL SA but it goes on displaying the same update for the BIOS.

I have a doubt that the installation of the BIOS or DELL SA is not updated?

Thanks.

If you boot into the BIOS, it will show you what version is installed.

Bios has been updated to version 1.12.0.

I launched a new check in Support Assist and this time it doesn't dispay the BIOS update.

Thanks a lot for the help!
