Hi RickMaccubbin,

to get an idea of the actual situation could you please tell me the iDRAC firmware version that is installed right now.

Additionally, please tell me if this is the only system that can't be discovered or if there are others too.

Another detail I need is, how do you discover your systems, do you discover them directly in SupportAssist Enterprise or do you use one of the OME adapters?

Thanks
Stefan

Hi Rick,

did you have the time to check any further?

Let me know and please answer my questions from the earlier post.

Cheers

Hi Stefan, Originally I tried to add via the OME adaptor, but the device was being recognised as a Server not a drac - thus wouldn't use the idrac credentials. I removed the OME adaptor and discovered via supportassist which worked for the most apart apart from SNMP. All firmware were updated to the latest release. I'll try configuring SNMP manually and advise the results.

Hi Rick,

is the destination IP list in the iDRAC full?

SA-9035: Monitoring capability cannot be verified because the SNMP trap destination is not configured on the device.

If all slots are filled, it can't add another one, please check that at least one slot is free.

Cheers
Stefan

Hi Rick,

seems that there is an issue within the 3.30.30.30 firmware of iDRAC. I recommend you to roll back to an older version to get the systems discovered.
This issue should be solved with the next iDRAC firmware update.

Cheers
Stefan
