Error / EventID:0 / An exception occurred in session change of service start: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Hello, receiving after reinstall of OS & APPS the following error from Support Assist Agent

Error / EventID:0 / An exception occurred in session change of service start: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Any help greatly appreciated.

HI Thomas,

Could you please describe the problem more accurately. Are you not able to open SupportAssist?, or do you see this error while using any feature of SupportAssist? Have you tried to contact Dell Tech Support. If the issue involves multiple conversations then it is best to contact Dell Tech Support, so that they handle all the queries and issue at one shot.

I get the same event - to the moderator: the event is seen in the Windows application log.

 

SupportAssistAgent runs but it does show my coverage as expired when it is not.
