supportassist registartion (linux)
I just installed SupportAssist (v2.30.something) on a r815 running deepin linux 15.11 . After installing I logged into SupportAssist but was not prompted with the welcome screen/registration page. Also The connection ftp and upload tests work but thats it.
I searched the forums and came up with 1 post where the OP had a similar issue and it was that the Agent Service wasn't running but the solution wasn't described in detail and it was also for windows.
Any help would be appreciated.

deepin linux is not supported by Dell and Linux support in general is not free.
Dell partners with Red Hat, SuSE and Canonical, and so most of our efforts are focused on these distributions.
Oracle Linux support is also not free.
Dell only supports linux on systems that shipped with linux from dell.
