Issue with performance manager 6.1!
Hi All,
we are using ECC 6.1 running on update bundle 7and we have symmetrix arrays discovered on ECC, The performance manager is unable to generate reports since april 4 for one of the symmetrix arrays,When I Checked the properties of the symmetrix arrays,In managed column it appears "No Symmetrix Agent" for the array to which the performance manager fails to generate the reports.For rest of the arrays on which we could generate performance reports ,the managed column in properties tab show's "Direct Attached Symmetrix Agent".Is this the reason performance manager coudn't generate the reports? But this array is discovered and also populates in data provider list,but in the dates column tof performance manager the last report date is 4th April to generate performance report!Mean while the solution enabler version has been upgraded to SE 7.3, I need help to resolve the issue,could anyone suggest the best solution?

Solutions enabler and the master agent are two different animals. Look under the agents section and make sure that there is an active master agent that "owns" the array you are not getting data on.

Hi,
Deploy the Symmetrix Agent in such a host where the host is zoned with that specific array.you can install Symmetrix Agent by just right click on the designated hosts in ECC .After you install the SYMM agents, ttp/btp will be collected from the array and you will get the data in Performance manager.
