Steps in migrating boot luns off to the VMAX ??

Precautions/Steps to be taken while migrating boot luns (boot from SAN luns) from storage side and as well as from tool side (SVMotion, AIX LVM, Openreplicator) ??, everything is migrated to VMAX (thin provisioning in place).

Are you talking about just AIX servers?  The platform(s) involved may impact the suggestions.

I need for AIX (VIO environment) and ESX also the windows servers environment...

So you boot your ESX servers, Windows servers, and AIX servers from the SAN?

For AIX are you booting virtual guests within your VIO environment and/or the VIO servers themselves?

For ESX do you mean the ESX hosts themselves or the virtual guests within the ESX servers?

As of now, ESX Servers/hosts boot from SAN not the VM, Also want to know the other cases here if AIX server also VIO server boot from SAN..scenarios
