TimeFinder/Snap Licensing policy

Could anyone tell me more about the TimeFinder/Snap licensing policy? I know that you have to buy a license for a certain storage capacity that you want to protect but I would like to know more details. Thank you.

Re: TimeFinder/Snap Licensing policy

If you are running Enginuity lower than 5875 then you need host based TF/SNAP licenses which are based on the capacity and if you are at 5875 or higher then TF/SNAP licenses are cap based. What else you want to know?

Re: TimeFinder/Snap Licensing policy

Sorry for the typo in my previous statement:

If you are running Enginuity lower than 5875 then you need host based TF/SNAP licenses which are NOT based on the capacity and if you are at 5875 or higher then TF/SNAP licenses are cap based. What else you want to know?

Re: TimeFinder/Snap Licensing policy

So if I have 5874, using the same TF/SNAP license I could create 3 or 4 snap copies of the same 1 TB of data? Thank you.
