VMAX Front end port limitations

Hi

About to take delivery of two VMAX arrays, my customer is asking about limitations on Front end ports.

Ports are FC, question - how many devices (devices that the customer will see) can be assigned per port?

I see from DMX discussion that limits may be at processor/director level, and that limit may be related to hypers and not metas.

Any info much apprec.

4096 devices per CPU ( 2 ports per CPU), that limit includes meta members

Hi,

As rightly mentioned in the above post, it is 4096 devices per FA processor. Primus Knowledgebase solution emc67373 quotes the same.
