symsnap create problem
Hi,
on dmx4, I tryed to snap one standard volume to vdev ( symdev show in att ).
We performed snap like in symsnap.txt and get error like:
# symsnap -g testdg create
Execute 'Create' operation for device group
'testdg' (y/ ) ? y
'Create' operation execution is in progress for
device group 'testdg'. Please wait...
A configuration mismatch was detected among members of your META device(s)
Any hint?

Hi Tomislak,
See the following knowledgbase article
https://emc--c.na5.visual.force.com/apex/KB_BreakFix_1?id=kA1700000000BjW
For TimeFinder, TimeFinder/SNAP and TimeFinder/Clone operations the source meta devices must have exactly the same configuration as the target meta devices. This includes meta type (striped or concatenated), stripe size, number of members, member size and overall size.

build your vdev device just like you standard device, it needs to be a 2-way meta, striped ..same size meta members
