DRAC 6 Express on R710 Gen II, Built in ??
I have an R710 Gen II server, The DRAC 6 Express shows in the Boot up and can be configured there. However, I also have a Plug in DRAC 6 (CN-0DW592). It's pretty obvious that this part was not made for my systems Mother Board, since the plastic cover and wire restraining clip have no corresponding attachments to the M B.
I assume that the part was made for an earlier Generation R710, am I correct?

R710 will come with iDRAC6 Express by default. The part number you mentioned looks like iDRAC Express part and you can not use it for R710. This part can be used in servers like R210, R310, R410, R415, R510 and R515
