Deploying OMCI 8.1.1 with Group Policy

I'm trying to deploy OMCI via GPO. I can deploy manually using the omcix86.msi file, but when I attempt to configure a GPO I get an error that says:

"Add operation failed. Unable to extract deployment information from the package. Run validation on the package to ensure that the package is correct."

Validating the package with Orca shows several errors, but the package will deploy manually with msiexec without any apparent problems.

Is this a known problem? Any workarounds? If I can't deploy this with GPO I'm really screwed.
