IDRAC 7 Firmware Update Tab Disappeared
I have a Dell r620 that had ver 1.23 IDRAC firmware on it. I downloaded the firmimg.d7 for v 1.46.45 (thinking to do an incremental update to the current version). The firmware seemed to work, and the server rebooted, but the firmware update tab has disappeared. The left side menu shows IDRAC Settings / Network / User Authentication / Sessions / CMC. The old firmware update tab had a rollback option which I would use, but I can't roll it back because there is no tab.
Do I need to install a supported OS and run the update from there? The server is running VMware ESXI 6.5

Hi,
I would try doing a idrac reset and see if the option shows up again. You shouldn’t need to step up the firmware either.

It apparently was a browser/cache issue. It was as I described with Firefox, but I switched to Chrome and it was fine. I was able to upgrade directly to the latest firmware.
