OMCI and DEP (Data Execution Prevention)
We were considering to add Dell OpenManage Client Instrumentation to all our recent desktops. (Optiplex GX280, GX270, GX260) I already installed OMCI 7.1 on the desktops in our IT-department. Today we had two pc's complaining about problems with WMI.

My best guess is the recent installation of OMCI had something to do with this, because OMCI is fully integrated with WMI.
I was wondering if anybody had a similar experience.
I will try to uninstall OMCI to verify whether the problem disappears.
I know it's possible to change the settings to not check on DEP problems for WMI, but I prefer to solve these problems without changing this setting.

I called Dell Tech. I was told the images as they come from the factory have problems, but ininstalling and resinstalling OMCI 7.x gets rid of the issue. Go figure...
