OpenManage Server Administrator 5.4 - Cannot Login

I am not able to login to my OpenManage Server Administrator WebGUI running on a Win 2003 Standard R2 server. I am getting login failed when I attempt to try to login using the following credentials:

1. Admininistrator via Domain/Local.

2. User account(s) with Admin privileges via Domain.

I know that I am typing in the username and PW correctly because I used those accounts to login to the server when attempting a local login. I have also tried logging in to the webGUI via one user account and logging in to the server via another, also tried with the same. I have tried loging in using both set of credentials above remotely as well as directly on the server. This is a fresh install of OpenManage Server Admin 5.4 being accessed via IE 6.0.

Any logs/anything that I may need to look at for errors?

Thanks for any help/suggestions anyone may have.

Thanks for posting!  Make sure your Administrator password is not blank.  If your server's name has an underscore in it, such as server_name, then type https://localhost:1311 instead.  Login, then go to Preferences -> General Settings -> Web Server and set it to bind to the IP address instead of Any.

Solved:

User this link replacing "localhost" with your IP address if logging in from a remote location.

https://localhost:1311/OMSALogin?msgStatus=true&wsErr=7&manageDWS=true

With the boolen set to "true" for messagestatus and "true" for ManageDWS" you will be left to enter the username of a root admin user and password.

Enjoy
