OpenMange update utility and SUU from network boot

Is it possible to boot the open manage update utility along with the SUU (server update utilty) over a network boot or network share? I am trying to update large amount of poweredge servers and some updates are just not easily run without that update tool. I have created .img files to boot from and I know open manage is just a linux kernal but upon deploying over a network I get "fractional sectors at end of image" error that prevents it from booting. I have created an ulimate boot CD and customized most of the updates to run but for some it is impossible without an OS which is my environment. Any help in this situation would be appreicated. Also I have even tried booting from a CD and then pointing to the SUU on a network share, which is an option in the update utility, to no avail. My deployment server is setup correctly, etc. as I can deoploy Windows images with no problem to these same servers.
