PowerEdge R900 to run Windows Repair
I would like to run Windows Repair on PowerEdge R900 (using RAID)
OS: Server 2003 R2 SP2
I am trying 2 methods but encounter some problems:
Method1: Insert Windows CD
However, it cannot Load my Hard Drives
If I press f6 to load driver (using usb as Floppy ), it says my usb "contains an unrecognized file system"
Should I format my USB to FAT12 ?
Method2: Insert Dell CD to load Driver, then repair windows
I'm not sure the following CDs are suitable
1. DELL INSTALLATION and Server Management Bootable CD v5.2
- CANNOT boot the kernel,
Are there any versions supporting R900 ?
2. Dell Systems Build and Update Utility Bootable CD v5.3
- CAN boot the kernel, but it shows "Server OS Installation"
Can I run Windows Repair?
3. Dell Systems Management Tools and Documentation
Not tried yet, Can I run Windows Repair with this Disc ?
Background:
After Windows Update (not updated for >5 years), my server reboot unexpectedly ~3 to 4 times a week with BSOD.
- My Windows Server 2003 R2 do not have System Restore (are there any other ways to ?)
- Tried "System File Check" but not working
Are there any methods apart from Windows Repair ?
Thank you very much in advance !

It would need to be FAT32.
I would suggest using nliteos.com to integrate the drivers.
You cannot use Dell installation tools for an OS repair.
You may need to update drivers/firmware. If Windows Updates have been neglected, hardware updates probably have too.

Thank you for answering my questions.
If I update drivers/firmware, can my server load the hard drives during reboot with Windows Disc ?
No need to Press F6 to load ?

You cannot boot to the disc in order to do repairs without loading the drivers each and every time.
It is not the drivers that are broken in your system. The fact that your system won't boot to the OS is not a result of a lack of drivers.

My FAT32 still cannot be read.
How to work with nliteos to integrate the drivers ? (I have no idea about it)
I think I should use nLite:
"nLite supports Windows 2000, XP x86/x64 and 2003 x86/x64 in all languages. "
My server is running RAID 5 with a lot of data that cannot be deleted.
Does nLite load driver every time before loading windows when rebooting the server ?
By the way , I found this. It seems difficult for me

You can try that link, but it is overly complicated.
To use nliteos.com, it is pretty straightforward except for two parts ... you'll recognize them when you see them during the process:
