dell dimension 8400 won't boot up! help!!!
my computer will not boot up it beeps and the a and b lights is amber the c and d lights is green and the fan is running very fast. i have replaced the motherboard and the power supply. please help. thanks.

I wonder what the solution is because I have the same problem, the a and c leds are yellow (amber) which according to the manual suggests a problem with the graphics adapter. Reinstalling it isn't very helpful and I don't have a secondary (working) graphics adapter. Any suggestions?
