OpenManage 8.4 Enhanced Message Format vs Traditional Message Format
To communicate with the Dell Server Management Pack in System Centre Operations Manager 2012 R2, OMSA (Open Manage Server Administrator) 8.4 recommends Enhanced Message Format over Traditional Message Format. What's the difference between Enhanced Message Format and Traditional Message Format? Will Enhanced Message Format work with Dell Server Management Pack version 5.1?

Hello, Thanks for your post.
If you configure Enhanced Message format then, the operating system log entries contain severity, category, and message ID embedded within the message and the alert severity is mapped to the corresponding operating system log severity. Enhanced Message format will work with Dell Server Management Pack version 5.1.
