iDrac 8 SNMP

Hi,

On iDrac 8 SNMP on OiD 1.3.6.1.4.1.674.10892.5.4.600.60.1.15.1.1 reports minimum idle power consumption which as I understand should be an approximation of minimum power required to run all enabled components which is okay but not very useful when monitoring.

Is there a way to get current power usage of the system via SNMP?

The real power usage on systems I'm monitoring is usually reported lower than on the iDrac web interface and real power usage monitoring would be more useful than static assumption of power usage...

Thank you for the service tag.

There are several OIDs related to power. You can find the SNMP reference guide on the OpenManage support page. I think table 471 data value 24 would provide the current wattage of the PSU that you are wanting.
