update BIOS on PowerEdge R610 running Solaris OS

Hello,
as a first step to improving performances of my server, I want to update the BIOS. I'm running Solaris on this box, and as a consequence, Dell support told me they can't do the BIOS upgrade because it's neither linux nor windows. However, when I check on Dell site, it says R610 + Solaris is fully supported by Dell.
How then could I do to upgrade the BIOS ?
Thanks in advance for your help

There are a number of ways to do a BIOS update even without an operating system installed.  With your R610, one option would be the new Lifecycle Controller.  This is accessible by pressing F10 – System Services when you power up the unit.  From here, you can do a platform update and the server will scan out to support.dell and download any updates for the unit while listing the current revisions of all hardware on your system so you can see what updates are available.  Other routes would include booting to our OpenManage Live disk, it runs a custom version of Cent OS, from there you can deploy the Red Hat Update package.

RHEL BIOS: ftp.us.dell.com/.../PER610_BIOS_LX_3.0.0.BIN
