Dell Streak 5 Wifi not working after Froyo 2.2 update

Hi Amy,  I have a problem straight after updating via the O2 / Dell link to Froyo 2.2 software - the WiFi simply doesn't work  (it recognises / acknowledges the existence of both my home router and, for example, BT Openzone / FON networks, but just spins round and round saying 'obtaining IP address' which it never succeeds in doing, then drops the signal entirely until you restart the process). I am on an unhacked O2 model, Kernel Version 2.6.32.9-perf. I also use WiFi Manager app, and I have tried the Wifi Fixer app (which made no difference). I have both rebooted the Streak several times, as well as the router at home, and have now done a complete factory reset (which is a pain !) on the Streak, still the same problem. FYI, if you Google the issue, it looks like a LOT of people are having this specific problem (not just Dell users, various handset models) after updating to Froyo. Just to let you know, it is definitely Froyo 2.2 related on certain handsets, including Dell - the WiFi was working just fine one hour earlier on 2.1. So, maybe you could let us know if Dell is aware of this issue and working on a fix, it is a fairly major inconvenience. Many thanks.   Mat
