Hey I just became a new owner of a Streak 7. I seem to can't get this thing to factory reset (I want to erase existing accounts and apps). I tried everything you can think of. I tried erasing all data in settings, hard reset, and tried through the boot up screen. Nothing seems to be working. It stills boots up with the previous owners account, settings, pictures, data, etc . . . Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.
It sounds like what you have is the dreaded "read only" state. There is no known way to fix this. You MUST send it to Dell for repair. Or if you can, get a refund.
