Dell Streak ATT is going back, welcome Nexus S
As I was misinformed by a Dell Mobile Support Specialist, the Froyo update is still not out on the Streak. I will be returning the Streak back to Bestbuy hapily and ready to wait in line if I have to to get the Nexus S.
I really wanted to like this device, but Dell's poor customer service and delay in getting the Froyo out is totally unacceptable.
Dell should stick to making cheap laptops and desktops and such and leave the Mobile phone business to the other's that can do it right.
Ba byeeee streak....

good luck. BTW you do know the nexus s will only work on edge on att right? no 4g unless you jump on over to tmo?

Could not agree more.This is the worse consumer experience I have ever had. They have lied about the updates and made a mess of them when made available. The 2.2 update has crashed my phone,it still has not been picked up 1 week after the agreed date,they will return the phone 2 weeks later (whichwill probably be longer) with 1.6. I will have to wait again for 2.2 update where there is NO guarenntee that it will BRICK my phone again. They are insane to think that this process is OK and supportive to their customers. :emotion-43:
Their ability to get things right and treat their customers with respect and intelligence is unbelievable.

Oh yeah. Thats another thing. I am so sick and tired of ATT. I am going to pay the $500 and get ouf their terrrrrible service and give tmobile a chance. Their customer service is as bad as Dell, in many other ways.

too funny. why would you have to spend 500 bucks to get off att? dont get me wrong. att blows. tmobile isnt all that bad. just slow on the roll out. and im sure you will complain about the nexus -s like many complained about the nexus 1.

Cause, ATT sucks. Dell sucks. Sick and tired off poor service and vendors lie to sell their products and keep lying.
Nexus S, at least I will get the latest updates as soon as they are released. By the time Dell releases 2.2 all, 2.3 will probably get another update.
Did I also mention how much I hate ATT. Customer service, in stores and on the phone is the WORSE company I ever dealt with. The only reason I am with them is the iPhone, STUPID ME...
