Dell Venue 11 wont turn on.

Hi all,

Im hoping to get some answers here. My Dell tablet will not turn on when my dell Keyboard is connected. When its connected I get a message on the screen saying tablet cannot communicate with keyboard battery. I can use the keyboard but it wont read the battery and drains the battery on my tablet much faster. When I turn the tablet off with the keyboard connected I cannot turn in back on. I have to disconnect the keyboard and wait about 2 mins for it to fire up (I once had to wait a few hrs). I thought maybe my keyboard was stuffed to I tossed it and got a new one, and now the same thing is happening. For the few weeks I didn't have a keyboard, the tablet fired up straight away and never let me down. 

I know my tablet has charge when I turn it on (with keyboard connected) but it just wont turn on at all. I have to take the keyboard off and wait. Its very frustrating. Can someone help? Do I need to send it back and get fixed? Surely its happened to someone else.
