Dell Venue 7 - Serious Lag/Freezing

Two months ago I bought a ( Dell Venue 7 3740 LTE ) tablet Android version (4.4.4 ) Service Tag <ADMIN NOTE: Service tag removed per privacy policy> Android version (Venue7 3740 LTE_V2.15_150305) I think mine is seriously defective. It is extremely slow and unresponsive in web browsing and frequently locks up or hangs up. It won't scroll or respond to commands. I have done a factory reset but this accomplished nothing. Nor does clearing the cache. Dell Customer Service has been similarly unhelpful and unresponsive. Almost every day I come close to throwing this thing across the room, it's so awful.

Hi,

Thank you for writing to us!

Firstly check if there are any viruses on the system.

We would suggest you to back up the data and restore it to factory defaults .

Kindly click on the link below which will give you instructions for the same.

I am facing the exact same problem in my DELL Venue 7 3740(Wifi only) Tablet as mentioned in this thread since the day I bought it. It keeps on freezing and hanging up. I have tried soft reset and hard reset both but its performance didn't improve. I bought it in 2015. Is there any solution or support available online to solve this issue.
