Dell Venue 8 Pro won't charge

I've had it for a few months now and it has worked fine until now. nothing changed and now it won't charge and I can't turn it on.

I have. All that happens is the orange light comes on then goes off after about a second and a half. An the white charging light won't come on after plugging it in.

Just to double-check: and you've held the power button down for 10 seconds or more?

It works now. I don't know what the problem was. All I did was poke in the USB connections with the probes of a multi-meter. Must have scraped off something that was preventing contact.

I have a less than 6 month old Venue 8 Pro and it won't do anything either. Orange light comes on shortly then goes out.

Not yet, I was looking where to call/email and I stumbled onto this so I posted it. Will look some more tonight. I'm at work right now and busy.
