Dell Venue Pro 8, Touch problem.

Hello,

My Dell Venue Pro 8 has recently (4 months after I bought it) presented touch problems.

When touched on the lower right side (being held  by the longer sides) the "cursor" appears and triggers many times on other parts of the  screen.

Can anybody help me with that? How can I get in touch with an expert from DELL?

You might try a screen calibration--search on the tablet for "calibrate".

As to tech. support, did you search here at the Dell website?

Thank you for your reply.

Yes I have tried this but the problem remains.

I am out of the US right now and would like to avoid phone contact. I cannot find any online tech support or any useful email.

I haven't used it, but the link above includes a means by which to conduct an online tech. chat.

Yes I used that chat. They told me that the online support for tablets was not yet ready. When I asked for an e-mail, they gave me this: US_REL_DESKTOP_SUPPORT@DELL.COM.

Nobody answered from this address. I sent twice.

I guess I' ll have to call.
