How to obtain an "out of warranty fix" for the Dell Venue Pro

I know that fiddling with the tape over the sd card voids the warranty. Now that I've done that, if something were to happen to my phone (knock on wood) is there still a way for the phone to be fixed (for a price, I'm sure), even if the phone is out of warranty?
