Venue 8 Pro and Netgear WNDR3700 Wireless N issue
Hey gang,
Just as an FYI to anyone who happens to have a Venue 8 Pro and is having issues with internet access on the WNDR3700. If you knock the connection speed on the router down to 54 mbps it's rock solid, at 300 mbps not so much. Spent a day pulling my hair out on this, so I thought I'd better share.
Tested the V8P on with my buddies modem/router supplied by Rogers (here in Canada) and it was solid at 300 mbps, so the card in the V8P is a-ok.
Long story short the V8P and the WNDR3700 are not the best of friends....

And here's the fix: install DD-WRT on the router. Now she's solid at 300 mbps :)
