Verizon network not showing up in the Wireless list on a Dell Venue pro 11

Hi, the Verizon network not showing up in the Wireless list on a Dell Venue pro 11.  The only time it will show up when the driver is first installed.  After a restart or shut down it doesn't appear again.  I updated the Bios to A18 and also updated the Dell wireless to the latest 5808e version 6.19.4382.502.  No luck.  It's very frustrating.  Anyone encountered this issue? Thanks for any help in advance.
