XPS 18 (1810) is bricked

Hello all!
Recently the BIOS update application, offered by Dell Update, stopped responding right during the updating process. While I was hoping that the application will start responding again, the tablet switched to sleep-mode, and never woke up again. Now The tablet does not react to anything, only LED lights near the power button, when it is connected to the power. And just a black screen. FAN do not run.

All the possible ways from the Dell BIOS recovery manual have been tried, but nothing has helped.

What can I do? :(

If one of those updates (the one that likely failed) was a BIOS update, the least expensive way to proceed is to find a shop that can un-solder the BIOS chip, flash it externally and resolder it.  Figure on $150-200 for the service -- it's a lot cheaper than a mainboard replacement.
