Create LUN with specific WWN
Hi,
i have to reinitialazing a few Unity Arrays to enable DARE. This Unitys are behind a VPLEX and i will do it one by one and always wait for the data sync. To reduce the work i want to export the existing LUN config and then create with a script all the LUNs with the right Name, Size, Compression, Host Access and so on.
My Problem is, that i need the old WWN from the LUN for the VPLEX System.
uemcli -d [IP] -u Local\admin -p [password] /stor/prov/luns/lun show -detail > unity.txt
With this command i get all the Infos with WWN but is there any way to create a LUN with a specific WWN?

Thanks for the quick reply.
When i accept other WWNs then i have a lot of work on the vplex side.
With the old WWN the vplex will automatically start the global sync of all LUNs and with the new WWNs i have first to break the Mirror, delete all the old Devices, create new Devices from the new LUNs, pick up the right Device and create a new Mirror.
Maybe the Dell EMC engineering has a Idea.

I would expect that this is not possible and if it is, it would probably need the help of Dell EMC engineering. I'd create a SR and ask for this specific configuration requirement.
But can't you accept other wwns?
