Unity All Flash. Space savings reported "Thin Savings from Zero/Whitespace"

Hello team,

I would like to have your point about the following.

This is the result of a Mitrend DRR for Unity


How do you consider the savings resulting from "Zero / Whitespace". Is it “real” saving?

In other words, if I perform a Data Migration to Unity, the "Unused Zero data within files” is a space that truly can be saved?

What about the space savings for future zeroes writes? (ex, the creation of VMs Zero-ed)

My understanding is that for the creation of VMs Zero-ed  there is no real saving as Unity doesn’t have “zero detection” as XtremIO.
