Unity Internet access only via proxy
Hello
With our first Unity Install we experienced the issue that the array can only connect to the WWW via a Proxy. Because of that the customer is not able to login to our support platform with his support.emc.com credentials. I only found the way to set a Proxy in Unity at the ESRS Setup stage similar to VNX Arrays. But to get that far Unity needs to be already logged in to our support platform...
Did somebody of you find a way to get around this issue?

Hi,
yes thats currently a known issue that is planned to be fixed in the next release.
For now open a service request and ask support to search the knowledgebase for a workaround and have them apply it.
You can try to setup the proxy via UIMCLI – that may work

Hi Rainer.
Thanks for your reply. Can you reference the resource where you found the information that the issue is being adressed within the next release?
We did try to setup proxy using UEMCLI /sys/support/config set with the proxy qualfiers but unfortunatey it also asked to enter a valid support account first.

You can raise a SR with EMC Support to apply a workaround using kb 486840

Once you opened your SR you can ask through that what the plan for a fix is
