Unity NAS config with LACP ( GARP Brodcast )
Hello everyone
I have a Question.
Unity 300 config a below Diagram ( Switch A / Left , Switch B / right )
But, During a fail-over test, ( SP A - Service mode / SP-B Active ) Ping is not reached.
Customer's Network Guy said, Unity will not Broadcast GARP ( Gratutious ARP ).
please Advice to me

Customer's network environment a can't cross connection.

why dedicated path/switch for each SPs? any specific reason?

we should send out a gratouitous re-arp
check the switch portfast settings and arp cache on switch and ping host
when still in doubt take a network trace - but here the problem is more likely on the network config than on the Unity in my experience

if automatic failback policy is not enabled? because both SPs are not cross connected with the switch in their environment.. just a thought..
