Unity NAS server standalone User Management

We are installing a new Unity 300.
When we deploy a standalone NAS Server, we surprised that compmgmt.msc has "Local Users and Groups" locked.

Other options are available but Local Users is unavailable.
Then ... how do we create users and groups to access NAS Server with other users?
Thanks

Usually this means you arent using the correct security context

for map a share like C$ to a drive letter like X: using the standalone CIFS Servers Administrators account

then open MMC and local user/Group Management should work

VNX CIFS Management tool is not necessary - management of local users / groups is through the normal mmc plugin provided by Microsoft

Are you able to access the file Systems through C$ share ?

I would suggest to search the knowledgebase on Support.emc.com for other tips or open a Service request

We had tried this, but it's not working.
We have installed VNX CIFS Management Tools too, with the same result.

Any suggestion?
Thanks

I was publishing a KB on this topic, and remembered this (old) thread.

KB 501783 explains the correct procedure (and why it is failed for you).
