VASA Povider certificate expired - Unity 300 inaccessible

Hi,

Last year in first registeration of VASA between vcenter server 6 and emc unity 300 a certificate has been created and assigned for VASA use on EMC .. https://unity:8443/vasa/version.xml

Now it's expired and so the registration is broken and failed. changing Unity IP address or hostname renews the management service certificate renewed but no effect on VASA service address. It's still using the old certificate

And I cannot find a way to renew the certificate .. stil the old one issued by EMC and expired ..

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I could solve the problem by using uemcli and deleteing the old X.509 VASA cetificate

Thank you, that fixed it for me. No data was lost, all systems remained offline but could not be managed (moved/edited).

Log into Unity via SSH

uemcli -d 10.1.55.1 -u Local/username -p passwd123 /sys/cert -id vasa_http-vc1-servercert-1 delete

Replace 10.1.55.1 with your Unity management IP, same with username and passwd123
