My understanding is that “Essentials” is now called EMC Storage Monitoring and Reporting 4.0 and released July 29th

I checked with support matrix which indicates ViPR SRM/Essentials v4.0 or higher is planned for Q3 2016 support.

So is this ready now?

Also what is ViPR SRM/Essentials different product to ViPR SRM ?

Are there any plans for a SRM 3.7.x Solution Pack supporting Unity or will customers definitely need to upgrade to 4.0?

Any plan for UNITY on SRM 3.7  or any plan for EMC Smarts on SRM 4.0.1.

We are unable to consolidate the 2 products right now

I would suggest to ask about roadmap plans with your local EMC SRM expert
