Which VSI version for for ESXi 5.5 U1?
I'm running VMware ESXi 5.5 U1 and two Unity 300 systems. I want to install VSI but...
- According to the EMC Simple Support Matrix dated October 2016 (Rev 22) I should install VSI version 6.3
- According to the notes on the download page, Version 6.3 is no longer supported because of an SSL vulnerability and 6.5 is recommended.
- According to the EMC Simple Support Matrix listed above, VSI 6.5 does not support ESXi 5.5 U1
So what version of the VSI plugin should I install?

According to the latest VSI Simple Support Matrix, version 6.3 is supported on ESXi 5.5 U1. But version 6.3 is not supported on Unity systems. Only version 6.9 can be supported on Unity systems.
