Oracle 11gR2 RAC Implementation on VMAX 5874
Hello All,
Would like to know what are all the bit settings required for Oracle 11gR2 RAC on AIX 6.1 systems to connected to VMAX ( 5874 ) :
For the initiator groups I believe we need to enable SPC2 and OS2007 Flags.
For the LUNs do we need SCSI3 Persistent bit to be set as well ?..

you don't need SCSI3_persist_reserv on devices for RAC, just make sure to set correct flags for AIX. You can find them in E-Lab Navigator
