SE_Cleanup.exe - anyone used it?
Hello,
I am working on the daunting task of upgrading Solutions Enabler on hundreds of servers to allow the customer to upgrade their Vmax arrays to 76 code. (for servers running below version 7.4)
The windows servers are causing us some grief as most of them will not upgrade directly and the uninstalls are never clean. One of our windows guys has provided a SE_cleanup.exe utility that he states will strip out all traces of SE but I've never heard or seen this before.
Anyone heard of it or used it? Cant find anything on EMC support about it and even Google fails to return anything meaningful.

If I remember it correctly, this utility was created because there were customers who faced loads of problem while upgrading from an older version of SE to a relatively higher version.
I am not sure if they continued to support or develop it for future releases. I think the best option would be open a ticket with EMC SSG Windows team to check its compatibility.
