Timefinder SNAP VP data not visible .
Hi,
I have taken a SNAP using SNAPVP inVMAX. We mounted that SNAP after unmounting the source LUNs from the Server. The data was visible then. The DB was up and as being used byusers. Then we initatied a copy (Server initated) of this SNAP of a New VG on the server so that the SNAp will still be intact and the new volume can be used by users to make necessary changes . After the copy, we unmountedthe SNAP and gave the new VG to users. But we found out data was inconsistent so we unmounted the new VG and mounted the SNAP again. But this time the dataon the SNAp is not visible. Not sure what happened to the data. Please help me with this

did you try varyoff and very back on the VG ?

We mounted the SNAP on another test server to see if thr problem still
exists. The data is still not visible on the new server also. Regardign
varyoff, our server team said, when i presented the LUN, it is already
Varied off and they have to vary it on .

on the new server they were able to vary on the VG but it was empty or they did not even get that far ?

They mounted the newVG and no data is found on the in the LUNs.
