VMAX950F - Retention failed warning alert, what does it mean?
We have a VMAX950F (5977.1131.1131) and for the past 2.5 weeks we have been getting hundreds of Warning alerts that read "Retention failed to run for Symmetrix "array ID" within the last 24 hours.".
Does anyone know what this means? Where to look? How to get this alert to stop coming in? It seems to be a PERFORMANCE under Type issue.
Any help/info would be great.

All, this issue is resolved. I ended up having to open a ticket. The tech that fixed it said the steps to resolve it are not open to the public and a Dell/EMC person needs to fix it.

check if the pool usage is below 90%. There is some reservation that kicks in when free space is below 10%.
